Well......... SO much has been happening in my life, I don't even know where to start! It's been FOREVER since I updated this, so that doesn't help matters. I am adjusting to the college life.. and accepting the fact that I NEVER get sleep! haha I miss my family like crazy...... I used to look forward to getting out of the house and now I count down the days till I can come home! Funny how your perception changes as you get older!
I have come to realize over the last few months just how important my family is to me. I have always loved them, but lately I have realized just how important they are to me. I am so grateful to have such amazing brothers. They are such a strength to me. I look forward to their calls and texts all of the time! I got all teary eyed when I saw their bald heads lined up to play football. They both are so tuff, but at the same time, they both have very tender hearts when it comes to the important stuff. I look up to both of them in so many ways- and yes :) I literally look up to both of them nowdays! I have the best parents ever!! They are ALWAYS there for me no matter what, and I don't know what I would do without them. We have had a rough couple of months in the Leatham family, and I am so grateful for my whole family. I know that we have all come closer to each other. I think that it is such a blessing to be in such a close family that is there for each other through the good and bad.
I have also come to realize just how important good friends are. I don't know how I would have survived the last few months without Kolleen and Kandice. I was a little nervous about having to share a room at college,but it has been so much fun! Kolleen and I have had some great late night chats, and made some very fun memories. We have had some awesome sleep overs with Kand, and of course had some very fun girls nights out on the town! :D
We have very fun roomates- no stupid girl drama, very fun late night dress up parties, and of course the one thats got da SWINEY!!! :D Love ya all!!!
Anyway..... that is a lil update on my life as of right now.......... :D And heck no there is no MRS. Degree in the near future of Kortney! But thanks for wondering ;D And now for some pics.........
Great post, Kortney!! Your family is so amazing!! I know what you mean when you say you look up to your brothers, since I have to now as well. Your post looks like you are having a great time and adjusting to college life. I know what you mean about sleep but remember sleep can be important at times so that you don't get sick. Hope things continue to go well for you. Tell all your family hi from me and my family.
ReplyDeleteI love you so much sweetheart! I don't know what I did to deserve such a great and special grandaughter. We tease about you being the "favorite" grandaughter but you so are special to us and we are proud of you!!!
